How We Make A Start

Dear Emigrant Compatriot, you can e-mail were the subject is "How anyone has made a start in…. apodimos.com", and tell us your story of how you made it from ground zero emigrating from Greece to your final destination country.

Write us about the difficulties that you were confronted with and how people treated you wherever your destination was in Canada, Australia, United States, Germany, South America, South Africa etc.

Tell the Greek youth about the dreams that you had when you left Greece, trying to make it abroad facing good and bad times that you had in your generation; what you have accomplished, created and what not had the chance.

In your e-mail please include a reference to the place you and/or your parents were born, what you remember of Greece or what your parents have told you about Greece, your efforts to make it in Greece and the reasons that have driven you to emigrate.

Whatever you send us, we will post it in the site for all Greeks and especially the young, the power and the adventures of our race abroad.

We have decided to give you the opportunity to communicate this way with other emigrants in different countries than the country you are in, to be able to see that the bread gained at the end of the day is the same everywhere.

The most interesting and worth attention stories will be presented in our node. In our site an archiving filing system will be created from those stories which will serve as a library of national importance untouched by the spell of time.
